Default Is there a Type 25 owners club?

I've just taken the rather large plunge of buying a year old T25. I was wondering if there was anyone on here with one, or even a owners club?

Cheers

I think there are 5 or 6 of us who post on SN, some pics would be nice and which one did you buy.

It's build number 34. I bought it from Litchfields, not actually getting my hands on it until next week.

It was a Type 20, but has been subsequently converted to a Type 25, and has done zero miles since conversion so I've got to run the thing in.

What's your view on these things, currently I've got a Bugeye WRX PPP, I suspect that I gonna notice some differences

If you can let me know how to post images I'll stick a couple on here...it's absolutely mint

As Mog says, there are a few of us who post on here. Maybe we should meet up and compare notes

Yours looks very nice but you should seriously think of putting it back on the standard wheels - those PFF7s would look so much better on my Crystal Grey one

Sorry no-can-do, I really dont like gold wheels, actually I'm thinking of changing the spoiler as well, it's a bit big for my tastes, I think a WRX wing or maybe a bespoke spoiler if I can find someone who makes them.

A meet up would be great.

anyway how long have you owned yours, and more importantly what's it like

You could always go for a carbon fibre wing like Mog's.

I bought mine new in March last year, and its got a few bits and pieces like mesh, Defis and leather. I'm very pleased with it - it does everything I could want of it.

I just couldn't stretch my budget that far, believe me if I could I would, it looks absolutely stunning.

How comes yours is developing 390 odd lbs/ft, when all the other t25's appear to develop 350ish??

Ta for the comment/excuse, Iain just states 350/350 as a standard baseline, the torque may be down to it being based on a spec c ?????, but I also havn't seen any other dyno plots for a T25 apart from mine which I posted up a while ago.

Long story but to be honest it is a second car and just sits there with me driving it it every other weekend and the wife driving the Forester STi for the kids and dog, I've had it nearly 18 months and only done around 5,000 miles. I love it to death which is why it is specced up but now really cant justify that amount of money sitting in the garage with the use it gets.

This is a bone of contention as different dyno's show vastly different figures, all I can say is that from a constant road speed the torque when pulling away is one of the strongest I have felt, bearing in mind that I'm comparing this to my old 440bhp RS4.

A lot of that loss is due to the way the dyno works. As Mog says you can't compare the MAHA dyno loss figures with other types of dyno - but the final figure is reliable.

I saw Mog's car the other day at Powerstation and it must be the most desirable Type 25 of them all !

I know it's epic, not only the most desirable t25, but probably most desiable Impreza around, if only I have a few extra grand, never mind the one I've coming is damned near perfect.
