Whatever happened to the Subaru Coupe Concept?
As the title says, what happened to the concept car that had the suicide doors? I can't remember what it was called B11S or something like that??

Like most concepts, they never get built. Small market sector against high development costs.
Or you can look at Ford. Each Focus RS cost them £27k to make (including development costs) and they sold for £20k, making £7k loss on every car x 4501 cars built = £31.5m loss.
Although Ford was the same company that said there was no market for a 300bhp 4x4 focus. Step forward Impreza's & Evo's. They also stopped developing the Fiesta RS, cos they said there was no market for a 200bhp+ small hatchback. Step forward new Clio 197, Corsa VXR.
To be honest if Subaru built a small sports coupe, I think there wouldn't be much uptake in it. Brand has the wrong image for it IMHO.
