have you tried a letter to the dealer principle?

may be worth a try first, but, i wouldnt be at all supprised if all you got was a letter saying its been noted, and they will look into it. Then nothing....

Nick - Bridgwater, my home town!

All the main dealers i have tried have always been muppets, would never go to one again.

Just out of interest, which one did you go to? I thought the nearest one was Yeovil.

The point of my post was simply this:-

We cannot name and shame shoddy service - because it can be so subjective and you only get one side of the story and not all of the facts, which is a very good reason.

However, happy clappy fooookin puke inducing **** licking posts stating what lovely service has been given - what nice shiny parts have been supplied - blah, de, blah, de, **** licking, blah, de, blah are hailed as marvellous works of puke art!!

And, in the same way as the complaint .... no-one knows whether the story is true or a blatant advert (look how many happen to be newbies!) - what the circumstances were, whether the item replaced a shoddy item .... and on we go .....

pete, FFS

What the hell are you babbeling on about now.......

Correct me if im wrong here, but not all people purchasing a subaru will have owned one previously, therefore many will be newbies. And TBH, if i was getting know where with my gripe with a dealer, i would be looking to take it up another level, and if i didnt know how to do that, i would ask. And where normaly would be better to ask, than an enthusiasts site, ie SCOOBYNET.

BUT, and its a big but, If you keep posting crap on here like this, there going to take themselves off to SIDC and i really dont blame them.

He did not post his problem, he asked for a contact, so either just help him out, or go and post crap on another post, there are a few from you to choose from that would fall into the crap catagory.....

You pair of ***** (ben44 and Evolution) simply cannot READ what I have written, only that I have written something!!

I have NO ISSUE with the poster complaining to IM or Subaru UK or whoever about a dealer ......................

The point I am making, and I will attempt to explain - maybe ben44 and Evolution could pool their collective 2 brain cells and 'try' to comprehend???

Someone suggests that the original poster posts that he has had bad service at a main dealer and name the dealer .... but, that would result in the thread being deleted.

However, the **** licking threads are allowed to run - even though they name the dealer.

Do you 'get my point' now Good God some people need guiding along even the simplest of paths

Pete

As nother guy posted, the correct address is:

Subaru (uk) Limited,
Ryder Street,
West Bromwich,
West Midlands,
B70 0EJ
Tel: 0121 557 2112
Fax: 0121 520 5025

IMG Customer Services - 0121 522 2000

A couple of contact details should you hit a brick wall with the "normal" customer services people.

Adrian Hogg - Customer Services Manager
ahogg@imgroup.co.uk

Phil Evans - Director Technical Services (for a technical-based complaint)

Edit: I agree that people are often quick to name "good" companies but not "bad" companies. I named and shamed a Subaru main dealer a few months back following some awful customer services that I received. The moderator in my local SN section (Wales) removed the post from the message board - which I think was taking the pi55. It amounts to censorship and I wasn't "effing and blinding", my post was accurate and factual.

Phil Evans is about as useful as a chocolate teapot, in our experience...

Don't let Subaru UK fob you off if you have a genuine complaint, keep on their tails.

I had to escalate our complaint to Robert Edmiston - Chairman of IM, before we got anywhere with Evans

I also concour! If the negetive response is factual then it should be aloud. As the moderator cannot be judge of what is factual, if there is a problem and someone takes action against the site then can he not forward the posters details. If he has been slanderess then the poster them self should be held responsible.

Hi,

Firstly, don't lisen to all the crap which has been posted here.
"Complain to him, no wait he's a waste of time, complain to him!", "I can't say what I want without it being removed"

Don't post details of your complaint on here is the fist thing I'd say(not that you probably will).
Second thing I'd advise is contact customer services in IM.
The guy there is very helpfull, and I have no doubt will direct your problem to the relevant person/company.
If you feel your still getting nowhere, then take it further by all means.
But do go through the proper channels first. That's what they're there for.
