Default LPG ?

This may go straight to the idiots corner.. .but..

can you LPG a Turbo'd car purely for the cost of the lpg gas???

I'd love a subaru but i dont think the mileage that i would do would leave me anything but skint each month, could i go gas or should i find another car ???

The government will probably remove the tax break on LPG, then it will be a waste of time.

Default LPG

I read about a guy who converted his Legacy GTB to LPG with success over on uklegacy.com, would be worth checking that out.

We also have a 2.2 Legacy Est (NA) on LPG for the last 10k and all seems well, getting about 25mpg on a run.

Car had 106k on it when we go it converted!!

will

I've had this discussion so many times before, the amount of mileage you need to do before its covered its own cost is VERY HIGH and will take most people years, I am also told LPG runs hotter and doesnt lubricate valves like petroleum mist so causes more wear.

You used to be able to get a grant to help pay for the conversion. Can you still do this?
