Where to buy MAF sensor from?
For a JDM MY98 v4 STi.
Local dealer are looking in to it for me but I fear they may come back with a rather excessive price. API are also looking in to it, but in the mean time is there anyone else that comes 'Scoobynet recommended' that will be able to supply the sensor at a reasonable price?
Not too worried about fitting, I have a tame mechanic who should be able to do it for me if need be
Cheers

Why isn't anyone with more knowledge piping up to get me out of the ****?

Still in need of assistance here. Bubba is right about the housing for the sensor, all comes as one part on this model at £230 all in
Any help finding one at a breakers or somewhere that might be able to supply one at a competative price would be really appreciated...

Cheers for the links, Scoobybits were very helpful but tell me that the MAF sensor for this particular model are like gold dust... They recommended Grade A who sold their last one this morning.... BUT cityautosalvage think they have one - have emailed them a picture of mine and waiting to hear back from them. They say it's off a very low mileage crashed STi which sounds good (assuming they are telling the truth )
So... What do people think I should do, go for the second hand one at £120 delivered which is the slightly more risky option, or bite the bullet and get a brand new one from API at £230 + delivery?
Also one more question - once the new MAF is fitted do I need to do anything to the ECU such as resetting it, or will it just accept the new one without any instruction at all?
Thanks for the help chaps.
