Default sti v6 spoiler

hello all.

im just about to buy a sti v6 high level spoiler to fit a classic. (after market not genuine).

this item! http://www.tsl-motorsport.co.uk/news...etail=89&query= but not at £250 + vat.

have any of you fitted one of these. if so did you have any problems in fitting it. are there any extra hole's that req drilling. does it need to be stuck down with glue to the boot lid.

also what would i expect to pay to have this item painted.

I had a P1 spoiler recently fitted to my car. I have an MY00 so the boot had 4 holes in it. I was advised that it would be "enough" to use those existing 4 bolt holes and just glue or use M3 double sided tape (if you glue it you can't replace the brake lights when the go)

If you look at bolts they aren't really that big and IMO 4 bolts isn't enough to ensure it won't rip off on the motorway and kill someone.

AFAIK they come with fittings kits which include a template for marking out the holes.
