![Question](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
My car has 18" PFF7's with Toyo Proxys all round. I need 2 new front tyres. I looked on www.mytyres.co.uk and have found replacements at a very reasonable price, however they are 'Toyo Proxy T1R's' which are non-directional. They seem to have a different pattern on the outer edges as well. As they would be on the same 'axle' I am not overly concerned.
What are these tyres like compared with the 'normal' ones (usually a picture/ advert at the top of these pages.)
Also, is it OK to have different tyres front and back - the car has Prodrive springs, front & rear strut braces and a fast road geometry set up by TSL Motorsport.

Always be careful when ordering from that company.
I was about to place an order, but thought i'd better ring to double check they were in stock (website stated they were available). Was told they didn't have any there and would be a minimum of 2 weeks before they even knew a delivery date.

The PROXES T1R has reached a new plateau of overall performance with uncompromising tyre to road contact ensuring precise vehicle braking, ride comfort and wear resistance. Features: * Unidirectional tread pattern provides excellent resistance to aquaplaning. * New silica compound creates excellent dry handling characteristics, and minimizes heat build-up. * Jointless spiral wound edge and cap ply maintain excellent high speed uniformity. * Wide high-tensile steel belts provide excellent handling + high speed endurance. * Rim protector
'Undirectional tread pattern' - I assumed this means the tyre is non - directional - am I mistaken?
