I wrote to Subaru UK in February to register my Impreza with them for Warranty work but as yet have heard nothing.

Has anybody else done this and did you ever receive a reply, or do you just assume it is done?

I received a letter back, I think I asked for confirmation. I would suggest a call to Subaru Customer Services who will require your VIN to confirm it is reg'd.

when i registered mine with IM I didn't hear anything for a few of weeks so i rang them up. They said they had stopped sending out letters to say the car was registered. Just ring customer services and they will tell you if the car is now registered.

Has anyone made a successful warranty claim when the work was done before the car was registered with IM?

I had to get my knock sensor replaced (£124) but found out that my car wasn't registered when the service reception checked.

Cheers Guys, i'll give them a ring.

I have a minor warranty claim pending, so i'll see what happens.

The specialist i use for servicing etc. (note not a squealer) say not to worry they will sort it with IM
