Since finding a tesco garage near where I work that sells it I thought I'd try it and **** me this stuff rocks!!!!!!!!! It's far better than ultimate and optimax. Which led me thinking - with tesco doing 99ron in quite a few garages do you think that they're actually bothering manufacturing 2 different types of super unleaded? It's would cost them probably more to do that than just make loads of 99ron and just deliver it to every garage that sell super?

I was just curious because nobody seems to rate their standard super but there's quite a few positive reports for the 99 stuff.

My 05sti pulls like a train all the way upto 90 now really easily and I'm probably doing far more MPG because I'm using the loud pedal far less now.

No obviously they are committing fraud and misleading their customers

 

i thought their super was 99ron - least thats all i've seen and put in in mine

 

my 05 STI PPP loves it too. Just run a tank of optimax through to give it a clean after a couple of months of Tesco 99, back to Tesco 99 on next fill up now. Pulls better low down and just seems brighter and more lively in general.

 

where do you get 99 from in tesco's? only sell 97 around here

 

Craig, the certainly DID have it in the Tesco extra on Western Avenue...I bought some from there...but that was a while ago...You could try there...
