I have just been reading some prievous posts about the bugeye and it seems that they r not that good of a car ,whats wrong with them?

it is for me, get the HELLA conversion and it eases the pain on the eye, only a little mind lol

Happy with my Bugeye STI, and the lights look great on that. At least the interior is a bit brighter too!

Driving it is what it's all about!

 

I can read and no i still dont think they look "gay" as standard.
They look better with a conversion.
How a car can look gay is beyond me.....

I'm not too bothered by the lights. They do need an injection of horsepower though as you'll soon get used to the 215bhp, especially as it's heavier that the classics at 1410kg.

Include £600 for an ecutek remap in your budget and you'll have no complaints being a bugeye owner.

You need a more practicle car as your MX5 isnt up to the day to day job of living. So, your looking for the most gay looking Impreza turbo you can find. And as you have just said, reading back through posts, that comes in the form of what is commonly known as a "bugeye"

 

i have recentley bought 1 but had to have the morette lights put on them,i love it, never had a scooby b4 and i smile every time i drive it ,it might not b a sti but to me they r not slow ,and with a few mods and a remap its a fast car ,( i think}i love it do u lot think they r slow mayb its because i drove a clapped out mondeo b4.
