Ideally you should use the same fuel as the car was mapped for.

Some people on here have had their cars mapped for Tesco 99ron
but it's not readily available yet, so I personally would'nt as I use
my car for holidays etc.

Optimax is the best choice, but as you have said it's not by you.

I find Esso Supreme to be excellent and very consistent.

Also BP Ultimate, but it's taking the p*ss with it's price.

You have not said wether you drive an import or Uk version.
If it's a UK then any super unleaded should be fine.

Well, you "should" use the same brand and octane fuel it was mapped on. However it should be safe on any fuel with the same octane rating (RON).

And optimax is Shell (98RON).

I've got a remapped MY01 WRX and run it on Texaco HighOctane most of the time. It won't make much difference running it on other brand SUL fuel, however mine didn't seem to like BP Ultimate, seemed less responsive.

Don't get too hung up on which fuel to use but if you get it mapped on 97ron, run it on 97ron or higher, not 95ron (unless it's an emergency!).
