Can't see much wrong with it and I am surprised you can see the reserve - the only surprise is that there are not many bids.

Things that are immediately suss :
1. Seller has 0 feedback, and has only just registered on the site
2. Seller is in the Midlands
3. Oz alloys - only they arent
Look at the description - in the title it says Sti extras, 300 bhp, then one of the features in the description on the listing is '5 gears and reverse' - the 'seller' obviously doesnt know anything about the car, which is hardly surprising seeing as he has either just stolen it, or has taken the pics off the web somewhere and has never seen the actual car. Also seems quite keen to get the payment up front and then deliver it.

Nothing, except it does seem to be a place where you here of an awful lot of Imprezas either getting stolen, or stolen ones ending up there for sale - which is why when you add that to a brand new 0fb seller who seems to be selling a car he knows nothing about, it should ring alarm bells.

The Midlands is no more a victim of Subaru car crime than other areas of the country, such as the North or South.............
There may be something fishy about the auction, but location may not be it.

#11 - whatever , but I still wouldnt :
a) touch this car with a bargepole - a 300bhp Impreza, but a seller who doesnt know why its making that power, or what the wheels are, or anything much about the car ( other than it has a reverse gear !!! )
b) buy ANY car from a 0 fb seller on Ebay, who only joined the site to list that car, and has never sold anything else.
Smells fishier than a fish.

Yeah in fairness it is a bit strange that it hasn't come up with all the normal vehicle details that your meant to have on ebay. I think it does seem dodgy but you never know. He does say he would take cash on pick up and you can almost make out the number plate so you could do a hpi report over the phone on the car to check out all the details if anyones really interested.

Hi
Just typed reg number into RAC website - result below:-
Vehicle Details for registration number X975JBC
Make SUBARU
Year of manufacture 2000
Model Engine size(CC) 1990
If these are not the correct vehicle details check the registration number you have supplied, correct it and then select submit.
Cheers!

Unfortunately the number plate doesnt prove much - seller has either never even laid eyes on the car, and has just used someone elses pics they found on the web, or plate could be a duplicate of the one from the real legit car, stuck on a ringer.
I could spend two minutes on Google or here, find some pics of an Impreza someone is selling, and list it for sale on Ebay pretending it is mine.
Not sure exactly what the seller is hoping to achieve though ??? maybe find someone who will pay up front then wait for the car to be delivered, or possibly just trying to get someone to part with a deposit up front, then do a runner.

Definitely JDM. Has the same exhaust as mine - bet you won't find one of those on a UK model.
He does suggest that by saying 'First owner in UK' and 'Some service history' - imports don't usually come with any history.
Not that there's anything wrong with JDM Although mine was imported new so I know the history.
Strange advert though - he wasn't exactly 'selling' it was he?
