Another 2006 Sti question for the community - anyone found any driving lights for this model year ? And are they good ?

Martin.

the new headlights are a major improvement. The 04 sti ones were pretty poor, very dull and didnt give much confident on a b road in the dark. The ones on the 06 are very good, light the whole road!

I agree the new lights are superb - but as they say every little helps !

I'd like some soo - I had some PD lights on my MY02 WRX and would like some on my MY06 STI.

We've looked at and can't find a light to fit that's worth having in the limited space in the bumper. We are looking at other options though.

Thanks Mike - if anything does happen on lights, I'd love to know. I never did get any for the 2003 car as they weren't available, and i've really missed them.

While I'm writing, just to check with anyone out there - are there any differences in the effect of having the prodrive springs fitted to the 06 Sti - I drove my 2003 car without and with, and I felt the difference, but with the 2006 car having a different setup - what difference to the Springs make now (assuming they can be fitted) ?

I have Prodrive springs for a few days now and I don't see any diferences in lights. Everything seems to be nice and perfect. Don't worry!

I have PD springs on my MY06 STI - incomparison to the 05 STI without springs there is a significant difference.

I was advised (via Litchfields) that the 06 STI springs are the same as the 05 STI springs - well they're pink anyway

Grand - think I'll be having some then. If I'm lucky we'll get a direct MY 2006 comparison on here, but it's really good to hear that you've had them fitted to a MY 2006 Sti. Did that mkethe wheels look like they fit properly in the wheelarch at the front then ? At the moment the car looks like it's on stilts at the front :-)
