Righty i am looking to buy a Scooby soon, have spent many hours now scouring this forum and learning what i can.

I am now stuck for what to buy, i had sort of decided that i was going for a 2002/2003 WRX with PPP, figured it was still new(ish) and should have minimal problems and still be fairly quick.
But then i got to have a good look around a 2000 Classic Shape STi, this seemed much faster and would actually leave me with some of my budget to upgrade/tune the car.
Like the look of both cars, wouldn`t be temepted by a Bugeye scoob, no offense to anyone who has one, but just don`t like em. Now i`m really unsure if the extra 2/3 years old, maybe a few more problems, is worth it for the extra speed! The car will be a second car, more of a toy, so it doesn`t have to worry about lots of millage or work and back in nasty weather.
