WRX PPP is putting out 265ps mate, that is if its an MY03 or newer excluding the MY06 (blobeye)

if its really putting more out than that, its not a prodive car, its been played with else where

hope that helps

prodrive as far as im aware did not take UK classics above and beyond 250 bhp.

he says its had a turbo change, possible of 300 there, as the ECU im pretty sure can be remapped with it being the 1999 or newer ecu TEK3 i think its called.

i would also be wary of what they mean by damaged, was it a catC or D write off or is he just being really honest, which lets be fair, isnt very common these days is it???

an expert will be along to tell you what those seats are all about too, i have seen them before but i have no idea if there meant to be there or not

the seats are exactly the same as the scooby i had before but it was a parralel import, infact it was the double of the car that i am looking at now. I asked him if it was hpi clear and he said that they hadn't hpi`d it !!!!! That rung a few alarm bells as well as the 300 bhp?????

According to the PPP certificate it had done 12690 miles on the 9/3/04 and its a '99 car - but it seems to tally with the service book.

Its now done 52000 so 20000 per yr for the last 2 years. How long have they had the car and when was it damaged would be the questions I'd ask.

Dont think it has 300bhp - maybe the advertiser has got a little confused.

The car looks to have a performance package fitted in which case it's quoted at 240ps. I think someone has assumed that as our performance package for the later STi gives 305ps then all cars with a performance package must also have around 300bhp. Bit like every import having 280bhp....
