where is the water pump situated under the bonnet of 95 wagon wrx?

as u look down the front of engine its in the middle to the right a bit at the bottom IIRC

thank you very much for your quick response. car keeps leaking water from under the drivers side, any ideas what it might be?

first thought would be the header tank as thats on the drivers side
and i believe the early plastic ones do leak
im sure some1 else will clarify this though

do you mean an expansion tank, if so his is metal, is that what you mean or something else?
plus he has to keep filling it up with water!

Easy to break the header tank even by leaning on it especially there plastic ones. If not look at the water pump.

If you are having to refill with no clear sign of a leak then im afraid it may be the head gasket

bf says that the water appears to be dripping out of from underneath the radiator, its like a screw hasn't been done up or something like that!!!!

plus if is was the expansion tank why is leaking from under the car?

could well be the rad then, could be damaged,hose cracked
