Had dropped a penny to 1.01 when I filled up at the new malden tescos yesterday.

To any Tesco managers reading this - why can I buy a tin of baked beans at any Tesco in the UK for the same price, when petrol at your stations can vary by the cost of your cheap beans?

Explain why this is not ripping off your customers?

Cheers

Anders

hope we do not get accustomed to this being grateful for paying 97p a litre for fuel, i remember the days of being pissed off for paying 83,5 a litre for optimax.

£105.9 a litre down here now for bp ultimate.Luckily I only use it when I run out of optimax (99.9 a litre) which is a 30 mile round trip to get.

Optimax is 98 -98.5 ron ,tesco 99 ron is obviously 99 ron although uses 5%bioethonal which is up for debate. although they did do 97 ron as well.
