Fuel cut again.

Fuel cut again.
Hi guys.
OK. Thats it. I have had enough of the fuel cut on my 93 JDM WRX.
I have tried a number of things but none work. FCD made the car run rough. Hybrid boost controller did not work at raising the fuel cut as I thought (it is excellent at controlling boost though).
Here is my final idea before the car goes.
I intend to remove the vacuum/boost hose from the MAP sensor (this will totally remove the fuel cut). Fit an Apexi SAFC to sort out the fueling throughout the rev range. And obviously keep the electronic boost controller.
Will this work or am I just pissing in the wind?
I would welcome some constructive comments on this please. If you are just going to spout the usual 'dont do it' party line without justifying your comment then please don't bother (unfortunately there seems to be a growing number of this breed on here).
Thank you for reading this long and frustrating post.
Regards. Mark.
Yes I know. I have now copied this to the technical forum. Doh.
