Default PPP Poor Performance Pack

Hi guys,

I'm new to the group (hello everyone by the way). I'm posting this cos i'm having a dilema with my impreza (wrx my02 29000miles). I recently had to prodrive pack fitted and was in love with it straight away (the noise and grunt etc.........mmmmmm nice), anyhow, the other day i popped out in my car but it struggled to start up (normmaly starts at first turn of key), since that day i've noticed a distinct lack of power and very little torque from the car. Now i'm not sure whether i'm being paranoid but when i civic typr r gives you a run for your money, it's time to worry...........does anyone have any pointers. I'm running on 97ron (texaco) and evrything else is standard

Thanks guys and gals

Mark

Don't blame the PPP. I have had it fitted since 2003 and it has never missed a beat (MY02 WRX wagon). It's now done 55,000 miles and is still as quick as the day I had it fitted.

Sounds like you have problems with a sensor or ecu or something buddy.

I wondered that myslef. Had the car checked over by a friend with diagnostic check. No fault codes showing. Sounds like its a trip to the dealers

Cheers for reply

I'd read about this fault on earlier models (oil overfilling causing hydraulic effect in boost sensor) thought this fault was recified on later models. Had friend do diagnostic check, but no fault codes were shown

Will ring dealer in morning

You won't necessarily have a fault code recorded, even if the CEL flashes/comes on.
