Default Boost solenoid pipes wrong way round !!

Hi group,

well after many hours of trawling through forums and search engines i've finally found a picture of the pipe layout for my boost solenoid and it turns out mine were the wrong way round !!! not sure how this has happened but i'm pretty pee'd off about it !! so basically i've been using the car for 8 months running crappy boost, and god knows what else. I'm not sure if there will have been any damaged caused but it may be worth others checking theirs. My car is a wrx ppp (my02).

Ta

Heyup pal,

Not sure how to attach pictures. Basically if you look at the solenoid, there are 2 pipes coming out of one end. One pipe comes straight out, the other comes out on a 90 degree bend. The pipe that comes straight out comes from the t-piece connected to the wastgate/turbo, the pipe at 90 degrees goes to the air box. Hope this helps
