Unhappy ILL SCOOBY!

My scooby is ill. 2 nights ago it started juddering really badly and because it's bank holiday I cant ring the garage till tomorrow. i think it's either injectors or plugs and leads. Any more ideas what the problem might be? jay

its a 1995, it starts doing it from about 3000 revs (i think!) around 30 mph, in any gear over 1st. When some cars judder they bounce you forward but this is asif its pulling the car back . But keep it under 30mph and in 1st!!!!it doesn't do it!

it sounds like your coilpacks mate, presume itr wont rev above 4500 but judders all the way and you get the feel of fuel cut??(like hitting a brick wall??)

If you rev really slowly ie gentle on throttle when driveing it will let you get to around 4500 and thats. if this is correct it is your coilpacks.

Indeed sounds like coilpacks breaking down, hit a brickwall then after a while one heck of a misfire then it clears up? Once the car is warmed up when idling does it hunt around?

when it gets warm it still does it, but it hasnt done a big misfire yet just spluttering.if i slightly rev it just standing still it sounds like its running fine, as soon as i take it onto the road and change into 2nd gear it starts

depends on what year and model?? they are directly on top of your inlet manifold the big red or silver bit that looks like a letter m from the front of car you could have between 1 and 4??? but you can have em tested to see which is the duffer or duffers!!!
