Yeah,
It's not too bad... I kinda prefer forwards acceleration, not sidewards/forwards!

That was the time recorded at the revs day - STi V, with filter and exhaust, nothing more.

Car will be back this week. Should be a little quicker to a 100.

HiYa m8!

On the day that I beat the Escort Cossie ( - had to get that in!), I was doing 1/4 in 15 secs @ 94. Therefore I would guess around 18-20 secs

Standard scoob

All I know was faster than the cos, which is what counts

Standard tune, just got suspension/brake mods (coil-overs, Brembo/AP, geo settings).

As my father told me when I was starting to drive

"Any fool can drive fast in a straight line!"

Question

So, Dingy, what car have you got?

A standard STi will do 0-60 in around 4.6-4.8 (see Autocar/evo/Car/various posts), BUT will take around 12.5 to get to 100. Under 12 sounds pretty amazing, especially if it takes you 5.3 to get to 60.

I only say that because at Santa Pod the Scoobs real advantage was traction (cf Stef figures for the first 60ft) not power - so you must have loads of power!

Maybe I'm only jealous - pre-Link mine was around just under 13s to 100. It's a tad quicker now tho'

Its a MK II RS 2000, GRP IV spec, no arches
with 405 bhp, trouble with my 0-60 is traction, wheel spinning in 1st, 2nd and third. Criag H is the only scoobie owner who has been in it, he will tell you how fast it is, plus its a little faster now.

The reason being for the quick 0-100 is my third gear is awesome.
see this thread.

Hard to say for sure, down to how grippy the road is but around 8 seconds to 100MPH for mine.

Hows the bonnet Dingy.

Mike,
difference being, I need to run mine in, you don't. And it's not being mapped till the 25th.

Yours will be faster, I know that. Except on track

Not true - I've found both overtaking and undertaking to be the fastest A -B!
