Default been offered a 02 wrx

hi guys please need some pointers,

i have had a 97 uk turbo ppp since november and have just been offered a

2002 standard bugeye uk wrx turbo ,fssh, 81k

on the clock, just had 80k service and has had the cambelt done when it was due which i am guessing was 60k so i assume its due again at 90k.

my question is what do you think it is worth he has asked me to make him an offer but i dont want to go to low or too high. so hense i have turned to the people in the know. could you give me your opinion on how much you think it is worth?

thanks

steve

IMHO with those miles on the clock I would be looking to pay around £7k

i know its a bugeye but with the lights changed, the high rear spolier and a couple of little toches they can look ok.

what are the power, handling changes etc that were made?

anyone driven both and can give me their views between the two

thanks

Stevie, I agree on the bugeye, they get a bad rep but change the standard lights and get fog light covers and they look quite good!

Take it you would be part-exing yours? How many miles has that done?

Yep, £6.5-£7k for a high mileage bugeye, assuming it's in good condition, etc.

condition is really good cant see no dents etc, just an idea had the classic since november and love every min of it but maybe time for a change.

my classic has covered 90k, thing is just spent out on full service including cambelt done by len at subaru4you, also replaced radiator at same time as it was cracked, put new pads all round and set of 4 new tyres in jan so i have put some money into it, but could get the bugeye for a very good price.

anyone be interested in a classic scoob see what interest is about pm me if you want full details and pics
