Its been advertised before; the vendor says that the car is recorded as a 22B on the V5. You can (or could) change that to whatever you liked though so its likely to be deliberate rather than a DVLA error.

It can say STi Type UK 22B on the logbook and HPI all day long but it doesn't disguise the fact that it is merely a 215bhp UK Wagon

Must have been a pain to paint the cambelt covers black.

From RAC Vehicle Check :

Vehicle details
Manufacturer SUBARU
Model IMPREZA 22B-STI TYPE UK
Body type ESTATE
Colour BLUE
Fuel type PETROL
Date manufactured 22 September 2000
Number of previous owners 0
Last owner change 22 September 2000

If it were a 22B it wouldn't be 1994cc, but 2194cc (or whatever the 22B 2.2 litre is)

Basically...
It's a Euro/Dutch import 'UK Spec' Wagon, In Sonic Blue.
This colour was only available on the EU Imports and not in the UK.
During the registration in the UK it was obviously done wrong....
