My Impreza is due it's 40k service, do I have to take the VTA dumpvalve off for this?? It is going to a main dealer for it's service...

Have you paid for an extended warranty?

If not leave it on.

If the car is under warranty still then it could be an idea as long as it is the only mod you have done to the car.
