Modest hotels near The Ring
I know that some of you have done a circuit or two of The Ring so I was wondering if you could recommend a hotel near there for Mrs Legal Eagle and me to stay in (and to have dinner in or nearby). I am thinking of about €120 all in as a guide to accom and meal costs.
Many thanks in advance to all who reply.

and you get a view of the track.
Made popular by mentions in some magazines so might be full up with 'noobs'
I note it costs more than last time I was there as well, still cheap though and highly recommended.

£70 a night inc breakfast iirc, very clean and new. Several places within walking distance for good food and beer 2mins from the Track.

If you join the forum linked to www.northloop.co.uk we have a thread showing accomadation links.
Oh and if you pay £70 a night you are being soundly ripped off

It costs 68euro per double room/per night including breakfast, which I thought was quite reasonable, but I did book it back in March and I think we were pretty lucky,as a lot of other places I tried to book were fully booked up.
But we did like the idea of it being right next door to the track.
You can even see the hotel on Project Gotham Racing 3(Xbox 360)
If you can't get there,it might be worth trying 20/30 miles away.
Good luck

Not stayed there but I have shared a few beers and chats with Bren before. He also has an annoying habit of beating on the roof of my car as I come down Dottinger Hohe. It sure as hell wakes you up .......

Personally I would stay in Nurburg on my first visit. It means you dont need a taxi to get to your digs from the Pistenklause which you should eat in at least once. Either that or Adenau which is a nice town located at the mid point. Plenty of nice eating places there.
When you get to know the lay of the land look for something on the outskirts if you desire but first visit Nurburg or Adenau thats my advice.
