Oil Filter Type

I'm after a genuine Subaru oil filter.
However there is a large type and small type.
Dont know what type to buy.

I have a 94 RA

Also what oil do you guys use?

Either will do, the design was changed to the smaller type cos the supplier was changed.

I've read this before.
Never filled the filter on any of my other cars, so I think it's sunk in for the scoob.
