Do white classic Scooby's have a lacquered paint finish. If so, when painting a panel could you use standard one part cellulose paint, or what would you recommend ? Thanks.

Whilst the one part cellulose paint would probaly go on alright....I think you would have problems when you would clean the surface.....any one parts I've had experience of in the past come of in the blink of an eye with any sort of cleaning material........not sure about the classic white colour though..sorry..
I do have some mates in the paint trade so will ask the question for you though.....
cheers

Just had my 22B vents painted (using two pack) they matched up a treat.
Mind you, at £58 for a litre of Subaru Feather White it's expensive.
(£58 is exclusive of thinners and hardener)

Cheer's Guys, I thought it may be a two part paint finish, now im sure. My Scooby's silver which I Know is a two part finish. I was asking this question for a mate, who's seen a tatty white classic for sale that needs some paintwork doing. I'll pass the bad news onto him. Thought he could do a cheap DIY repair job on it himself. Bad idea !
