Dutch import full uk spec will it affect insurance?

Default Dutch import full uk spec will it affect insurance?

currently looking at a car on autotrader which is a dutch import but full uk spec.

it doesnt say import on the log book according to the guy selling it?

will or can it affect the insurance?

any help would be appreciated guys and gals. going to look at this car tonight.

Generally it doesn't cause any probs.

You wont be able to tell from the log book that its an import

My EU cost less than a Type UK. Make sure they quote it as a European Union car, not a "import", which usually means Japan. The jap import price was quite a lot more.

When I had mine it was the same price to insure as a UK car. No problems at all, its a parrallel import.

No problems as long as it has locking wheel nuts and cat 1 alarm fitted

The PDI in the service book should have been completed by the Dutch selling dealer. This is the only give away, unless it had a rear window or boot badge applied in Holland.
