Can you fit a de-cat downpipe onto a 99-00 PPP Turbo without it causing engine problems??

I've seen a lot of people say they are running them.. c270/270 seems to be the quoted figures but I was just wondering if this was actually safe to do, I've always been of the belief that once fully de-catted the car should go for a custom re-map. Is there enough fuel/safety built into the PPP ECU to run this mod??

Cheers,
Grant

Sounds like you found a car after Grant ?

Just to let you know I'm running full de-cat on standard ECU without any concerns here... 238bhp

Nah, I havent found a car yet mate... few unforseen problems. I'll send you an e-mail later on and explain further!!

I know you've got a Knocklink fitted too, you dont see any activity at all?? I'd hope the PPP was the same, but because of the extra power as stock, I'm wondering if the safety margin has been reduced.

Cheers,
Grant
