i have tried google but no luck
the car in question is a uk wrx sti in white, it has Scotland flags on it at the bottom of the doors and one on the boot, i think it had one on the roof but that has been taken off.

I think it was a dealer special model based on the UK STi.

The cars you are thinking of were Town and County(Subaru) in Aberdeen did their white demonstrators with a load of Prodrive extras and stuck some saltires on it and called it an Eccosse. Was a couple of years ago seen one at the showroom.

Taken from the SIDC FAQ:
The Subaru Impreza 'Ecosse' special edition marks a departure for Subaru in that it does eighty miles per gallon. "Could ye no make it a wee bit more economical" said a spokesman, at the time.

WAS AT TOWN AND COUNTY TODAY FOR A TEST DRIVE AND THEY HAVE THE CAR IN QUESTION IN THE FORECOURT.
WHEN I ENQUIRED AS TO WHAT AN ECOSSE IS ?
THE GUY SAID
"IT IS A LIMITED EDITION CAR OF ONLY 1 "
I THEN ASKED WHO MADE IT A SPECIAL EDITION WAS IT SUBARU?
"NO IT WAS TOWN AND COUNTY ABZ WE REGISTERED IT AS ECOSSE WHEN IT WAS DELIVERED"
SO WHO PUT ON THE STICKERS ? I ASKED
"WE DID"
SO THE TRUTH OF THE 1 AND ONLY ECOSSE IS IT ARIVED AS ANY OTHER STI WITH PPP THEN TOWN AND COUNTY PUT GRAPHICS ON IT.
I COULD ONLY LAUGH AS HE TRIED TO MAKE EXCUSES TO JUSTIFY THE 17,000 PRICE IN THE WINDOW.

There's a whole wealth of info available to you: Autotrader, Price Guides, Pistonheads etc...
I would've said no more than 10,500-11,000. If you're hell bent on graphics, you could buy a normal STi PPP and get your own graphics made, if you think they're asking too much for it.
