Take a look at http://www.sidc.co.uk/faq.htm
If I were you, I would look at UK cars which are Group 17 and a LOT cheaper to insure.....
Also worth a look is the Impreza Insurance survey here: http://www.go-faster.com/impreza/index.htm

Could anyone tell me the std power/torque of these please?
Also your opinions on insurance..... 22yrs old, 4yrs NCD, licence for 5yrs - quotes around 2300
