I've had a little "A" appear on the clock next to my trip mileage. I'm assuming its nothing major, I'd just like to know what it means before I embark on my 150 mile journey home.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I think it's the button to record your mileage. Turn it 1 way and it records on clock A and, turn it the other way and it records it on clock B.
Hope this helps??

I think its a top feature, I use trip A to record my daily mileage for my mileage sheets for work, and I reset trip B every time I fill up the tank to see how well my car is performing with regards to MPG.
A quick look in your owner's manual would have told you this

Dan.
The reason I was concerned was because it seemed to appear for no reason. Presumably I pressed a button inadvertently.
Where is this button?

The button is by the Speedo/Rev Counter.
When they say button it is a stalk about 1" long, turn it and hold it, for about 2 seconds to the right & A or B comes up.
Turn & hold in the opposite direction and A comes up.

Strange thing this ....... I had a play with mine and find out that I can turn the miles back ![EEK!](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/eek.gif)
Hold the button in for 3 minutes, release, then hold in again for 5 minutes.
Then you will be able to turn the shaft left or right - decreasing or increasing the mileage!!!![EEK!](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/eek.gif)
