Default PPP decat pipe

Is the decat pipe (inbetween centre and downpipe) added in the prodrive pack stainless on a STI8 ppp?
If it isn't would I get any benefits from fitting a stainless pipe?

The decat pipe is included as part of the PPP.

Does it matter if it's stainless steel?

It says on the Prodrive link: Stainless Exhaust silencers. I would've thought it would be, if you're paying £1500+ for the PPP, i wouldn't want mild steel pipes.

there's a few on eBay if you want to see what they're like.
