Default Fed Up With Garages That Dont Understand Imprezas

I'm tottally fed up now.

Used a local garage for the past 9 years or so and found them great.

Bought myself a scooby and I they seem to have concerns about carrying out certain work.

Is there a good garage in Somerset around the Taunton/Bridgwater area that are confident Impreza mechanics?

ANYBODY?

It's a Jap import (classic).

Surely this is'nt the problem.
If parts are required to carry out the job then I can source them.
I just want a compitant mechanic who knows the Impreza

ANYBODY?

At least they're being honest with you.... Rather than just doing the work badly & cocking it up...

I wouldnt let anyone who isnt a specialist anywhere near mine.

When the local garage couldn't replace a Lamda sensor, that was enough for me

Being an import certainly makes a difference round here.

It's only in the past month the local Subaru main dealer has started to work on imports, before then they wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. Don't know why they just wouldn't

We've had a few Subaru's in in the last 12 months where the owner's, apparently being mechanics themselves, are too scared to touch them. Most garages round here, as soon as you mention 'import', run a mile
