I sold my box standard MY99 Version 5 (T) with about the same number of miles on the clock and probably the same immaculate condition for 8k a few months back. Only had the Cat1 alarm, digital speedo and turbo timer in addition to the basics.

Lovely looking car you have.

I would of thought around Ł8-8.5K, Prices of Classic seem to be right in the gutter, even Type R's are going for silly money.

Is the exhaust the 3" Fireball? If so Change the exhaust and sell it on it's own, 5Zigen's are like gold dust!!!!! took me two years to track one down!!

Fatmanscooby is after one and he's been looking for atleast 18months,

Fatmanscooby this 'might' be your lucky day!
also, i'll probably look into putting the standard 16" wheels back on, so the (IMMAC) 18" Super Legs might go separately, (If we're looking at 'give away prices'!?).

As above, take it back to standard as much as possible, you'll find people are much more interested in looking at relatively standard cars as its safer territory, plus you'll get more dosh selling the aftermarket parts by them selves.

Any self repecting car dealer always wants it cheap then cheaper still . I'd hold out for a decent price for yours as she looks a minter! If you do get fed up with the usual idiots who can't afford a Fiesta let alone an STi just PM me with a price as even if it's over my budget i can pass you onto one of my customers (i do check they can afford one!) and you can deal direct ......going off the point a little i am currently looking for version 7 & 8 STi's, saloons only, decent examples for waiting customers as i've sold all mine. Please remember though i am trade so won't pay the "I still see them advertised for" prices as they may be advertised but are they selling???????
Dave.

no disprespect to the gentleman above but i would use a dealer as a last resort. as he said he will buy it for a price and sell it on a profit, quite obvious really. persist and you will get a good price for an excellent example, clearly been lovingly cared for.

regarding a good price try the usuals, autotrader, parkers etc, and see what prices their going at as a rough guide. saying that there may be someone on here after one being a scooby forum and all lol. good luck anyway!

No offence taken You are very true in your statement as this looks one clean car!! On the one hand though i've bought quite a few cars privately lately as many people prefer the trade as i simply turn up spend say half an hour or so looking around, a 15 minute blast (with full comp insurance) and then, as a fussy old git, i simply open my bag and pay cash or if i don't like it i don't say "i've got another one to look at" or "i'll have a think and let you know".......i'll just say she aint for me sorry mate and then i'm on my way. Much easier .........i still agree though that she'll easily sell........and would be nice if it were me!!

Thx Gazza, I'll keep you posted.

I would prefer to sell them with, because it looks and handles SO MUCH BETTER!

What are they worth 2nd hand? (immac. inc OZ wheel nuts and locking nuts)
