I've been offered the above plus remap from a very well respected turner @ £850+vat (£998.75) and wanted to know if the price is fair or do you think I can haggle a bit.

I've got a v4 Type R.

It sounds expensive to me. Andy Forrest charges £750 mapped exc. the Commander and Zen arent much dearer.

See if you can get hold of a second hand PFC and Commander. Should be £400 or less. Even cheaper this way.

 

jolly green monster that posts on here can do you a decent deal.... just had mine mapped by him,though he does supply and fit plus map also.....

I'm not plannig on taking my business elsewhere I want to see I can have them lower their costs. They've done a bit of work for me already.

Oh and I am after the parts, fitting and mapping too.

Yeah thats what I did and got Andy F. to map it!

 

I bought mine off ebay for £400 inc commander.

AndyF mapped it for £200 plus travelling. So I paid £680 all in.

MY98 WRX that runs like a dream.

Not sure what the other tuners are like, but Andy does a great job.

As said I'm not planning on taking my business elsewhere but that does not mean I won't either.

So Andy F where are you based and is there anyone competent near London who could supply and fit at a reasonable cost.

Andy is in Scotland but he can travel. Simon -JollyGreenMonster on here-; is a good deal closer but I believe that Andy Forrest is the cheapest.

sorry, i was refering to the costs involved .... i contacted several mappers regarding a power fc and jolly green monster was the best option for myself
