Took my car in for a couple of tyres today.

Told the fitter - "this is my pride and joy please don't scratch the alloys".

Got it home and noticed a chip on one of them, gutted !!

It's a standard "gay" gold alloy, so what sort of touch up paint can I use to fill the chip ??

I think you will find that there are several shades of 'gay' gold, throughout the years. As I understand it Subaru are very unhelpful in providing a paint code, and have (at my dealer) refused to refurbish or paint wheels anymore due to the sheer amount of complaints about the finish.

Go to a paint specialist to match the paint, or if you can endure going through all the samples, go to Halfords and they will match the paint and put it in a pen...
