I dont really pay much attention to petrol prices (try desperately not to look at the pump price ) but I had a good look while I was filling up tonight. Optimax 75.9, unleaded 70.9, low sulphur diesel 75.9. I didnt relize diesel is the same price as optimax I always assume diesel and unleaded were about the same price.

Not very interesting but just an observation

Yep, it's been dropping over the past week or so. I pay 68.9p for NUL at the mo.

Talking to a petrol station attendant the other day, he suggested that petrol prices have come down because of September 11th. He reckoned the fuel companies are making less money selling aviation fuel to the airlines (less flights carrying fewer passengers), so they have reduced petrol prices in an effort to sell more and make more money from the forecourts...
