Default Black version 6 sti?

Hi guys was just wanting to know whether there was a version 6 sti ever made in black

im sure i had seen one on a Y plate on here around a year ago but wanted someone to confirm whether they were ever made

yep - seen a W-regV6 saloon a few months back.

thought so, just need some clarification since someone has told me that it could be a version 5 but registered late ???

Think that someone may be right. Black wasn't available for the V6 as cashmere yellow was introduced instead IIRC

but you see then comes the other part of it

from what i know or have been told that all version 6 start by putting your foot down on the clutch first however i have driven a version 6 sti wagon in cashmere yellow which started as any other scooby

also to mention that there are a few black stis ive seen on W and Y plates, how is that possible other than the fact that all of them were registerred late?
