9.84s @ 146mph
I just wanted to congratulate my husband publicly for running a 9.84s 1/4 mile at 146mph yesterday (Santa Pod test day.)
I cannot even begin to explain how much blood, sweat and tears have gone in to this project, but it feels bloody good today!
With a bit more tune (maybe NOS?) and a bit more time, Paul believes he can go lower (oooer).
I would also like to give a big to Andy and Barbara, I imagine they know what I am talking about!
More detailed info here:

PS, did anyone tell you Andy did a 9.3 @ 159mph

I understand that one hell of a lot of work goes into these cars, but i'd much rather see them lapping Brands, Silverstone and 'The Ring' etc.
I would just feel short changed with everything being over 9.5 seconds!
Then again, now I know how my other half feels!

Being able to do a 9.84s 1/4 mile in a car that also lapped Knockhill (Time Attack Round 3 on 1st July) at a very respectable 57.540s is no mean feat believe me. And with more time to be spent on the set-up, Silverstone should see a track improvement.
Sheeesh, how much do you guys want?!

Excellent result, good to see you all constantly raising the bar (I'll be happy when I can get into the high 11's )
