Default intake temps to high

Hi people i have a hks mushroom induction kit fitted and my intake temps are to high so i have 2 options: 1 fit the original air box back on and have a remap. 2 improve cold air feed or move the mushroom 45deg to face the os wing which means i wont need a remap. please help.

Have heard reports that HKS induction kit isn't very good at actually 'filtering' the air anyway.
There is no point in having an induction kit unless you are approaching the 400bhp barrier. And even at that stage, a lot of tuners still prefer a sealed box design, or one mounted in the wing.
Far better off with a green cotton panel filter in the original air box.
As for the high intake temps, im not surprised considering the temperature today!
