Default Some F****ING SCUM tried to nick my spoiler

Supposed to be having a nice weekend away with the girlie, and some fecking inbred scum has tried to rip the STi 6 rear wing off the car overnight in the hotel car park The bottom half is still on the boot lid and apart from paint damage, looks ok. I'm left with a little bit of the top half still and the rest has gone missing - nowhere to be seen. As you can imagine, not a nice thing to see is the remains that are still on the car and a missing top half of spoiler plus all the expense and hassle of getting it sorted, I'm not a happy bunny right now.

That was Friday night, so not wanting to stay there for the rest of the weekend we left asap Saturday morning so I'm now left with a bill for a new spoiler, two nights in a hotel, and 400 miles worth of optimax and for what???? 10 hours in a Welsh 'Fawlty Towers stylee' hotel where we hardly slept all night because of the noise and then banging fire door every 10 seconds from 6am through to 7.30 (when we gave up trying to sleep, got up and found the car in a state) becuase Manuel was putting a million cases from one side of the door to the other and into the lift for a coach party leaving that morning. Whe could he not wedge the door open?

Fecking weekend, glad its over... here's to a new week.

It beggars belief why someone would try and nick a spoiler. You'd like to think that it wasn't a fellow scooby owner. In which case what car was he gonna stick it on?!?

Hope you find a decent bodyshop. At least with it being the boot it won't be too expensive.

Someone tried to nick mine about a month ago, used a crow bar to try and ease it off, thick *****, was left needing a new boot ,spoiler and rear quarter damage, about a grand worth of damage, wasn't happy at all.

So I know how you feel, hope you get it sorted.

Sorry to here about that, hope the thief's ***** fester.

With regards to the door, as you say it is a FIRE DOOR and they must not be wedged open in any way, shape or form.

Yeah, I know that and I wouldn't normally complain, apart from later that morning a different fire door had been wedged open by the cleaners so they didn't have to keep opening it...

It just added insult to injury really, would probably not even thought about complaining about the door if everything else over the weekend had been ok.

Apparently, some guests in the hotel heard a loud bang in the night - sounds like they heard it break, how much forse do they need to break them then?

You've only got yourself to blame, parking a highly noticeable car in a crummy rundown cheap hotel !

I stayed in a hotel over night recently when I visited GoodWood in my scooby. Couldn't sleep a wink all night, then eventually at 2am I had to get up check it was ok, then move it to a different parking spot that I could see from my room!. All my friends and familly laughed at me, but you never know what idiots are about and it just goes to show that bad things can happen to your scoob when your back is turned.

I must say, now I no longer have Imprezas I don't miss the hours' sleep I lost when parking somewhere other than at home.

Paranoid wasn't the word for it. Would point blank refuse to go to certain places.

no 100% true, internal doors yes, escapes however are free to be left open if the owner likes as they are an escape route, they cant be blocked
