I finally got a response from someone which included the price for the STi VII. Here is the details that i received

STi 6MT GDBA4EH EL 3,548,000 YEN
Sedan GL 3,580,000 YEN

STi TYPE RA
6MT GDBA4DH WN 2,968,000 YEN

STi W
6MT GGBA5EH 3,348,000 YEN

So going on an exchange rate of 155Yen to the £.

The STi type RA is £19,148

The STi Wagon is £21,600

Not sure what to make of the EL or GL, maybe one is for a 2 door car?

Now "all" i have to do is try and find a dealer or Agent in Japan who won't charge me an arm and a leg for using there service, it is proving to be a hard search!

 

But surely this will be about £10k higher after tax/duty, shipping and all the rest?

 

I think it is probably about another 33% on top so the Type RA would be about £25,500, I would of prefered to go for the Sedan but with the exchange rate being what it is at the moment it would of ment a price of about £30500, I wish it was 244 Yen to the £ again.

 

Maybe those EH/EL codes signify the option packages fitted.
The STi saloon is available with a satnav package that includes black windows, or another package that includes front viscous diff.
The STi-RA is available with a Brembo package that has the brakes, 17" alloys, ABS etc.
