Hello all, ive bought myself a scoob after a few years of clio sports, the model is a T - reg RB5, no 200 i think. 50K on clock, one owner. Whats the general opnion on here about this model? cant seem to find much info but iam proberly blind.

nice car i think they are basically a uk car with every prodrive option and a few rb5 only parts making a limited car special definatly worth the exta cash over a standard uk model

Great choice fella lovely motors. I think there are two different types of RB5, ones fitted with the WR prodrive pack (bigger BHP) and those that are not. I think there is a dedicated web site for them also, can't remember the exact web address but I'm sure a little bit of digging here on Scoobynet (search at the top of the screen) should come up trumps.

Cheers, got to say when i took it out for a test drive i was hooked, never could understand the hype with scoobs but now i see what its all about. Sticks to the road like a fly on ****! And its jeffin quick and the noise .....blah blah list goes on. I paid 10k for it, but its only had 1 owner, 50k, and full scooby serv history. Also its standard other then dump valve.

I know there seems to be some bad blood between clios and scoobs but in a simple yes or no format will the scoob ive bought be 'quicker' then the 172 ive traded in to get it?

Yes, but in a different kind of way (if that makes sense)

Take it out on some country lanes you have driven in the Clio and you will see what I mean
