Tucker

When did you get the box from as thinking of fitting one to my 06?
Thanks

Hello Tucker,

Thinking of getting just a back box only, as well. Did you notice any improvement on acceleration especially at lower revs?

Many thanks.

there is neglible improvement for backbox imho, the real money is in the headers and downpipe.

where did your burble go if the backbox brought it back?

The new 2006 2.5 wrx does'nt have much noise from the rear if any, what i was wanting is the ppp but a bit skint at the mo, so decided to buy a rear back box (prodrive one) to keep me going

I had PPP fitted to my 06 a few months ago as the standard car is painfully silent after having two classics with full decats. As usual tho with new exhausts it's only now getting slowly louder as the inside 'soots up'. When first fitted it wasn't much louder than OE but now my neighbours again know when i've come home from work Doesn't shake the windows like the old classic but at least they know i'm home .

Tony.

Hi mate glad you are pleased with it, tried to give it a good clean up before I sent it, it does massively improve the sound of the car and looks better.

Just don’t listen to a afterburner vortex or you will want to change again like I did

you will have to post up some pics of your car
