Default What should I do??

Having a few probs deciding what to do...

Heres me car standard :

I also have the original Tommy Kaira alloys which I am thinking about getting refurbed, as they are split rims this will cost me £350 for the set plus new tyres as they are unroadworthy (but they are whats meant to be on there) :

or do I just get a new set of wheels and tyres:

Edited to add : Ill keep the originals either way so they can be sold with the car if I ever sell it

and

Just found these in 18inch for £425 delivered aswell :

I think the original wheels look dated now, however it would be a shame not to keep the car original. They might look good painted white?

Yup, normally around £50 a wheel, as soon as you say split rims and "I want it done properly (inc reverse of rim) they slap on loads more...

Hows it handle??

Just been to south coast wheels. Nothing there like the ones in the bottom pic but did recommend some Team Dynamic Pro Racer 2 wheels. Also said 18s would not do the handling any favours and I should stick to 17s.

Not sure if he said that as its true or because they couldnt do the Pro Racers in 18 @ 7.7in wide, only 8in wide.

Quoted £820 for em with Toyos, Halfrauds have the same wheels with Toyos for £669...

And the ones in the bottom pic are made by innovit, are they cheaper for a reason?? : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=150024081843

They ride the road lines a little and tend to find pot holes more! But handling is great! Just my tires are expensive. The speedo speed is higher than you are oging at high speeds(only on the track) like 170 on the clock is about 160-162

I take it then 17s is the biggest you can go if you want the speedo to read correctly. What size tyres do you chaps have on your 17s and 18s??

Pretty sure Im decided on th eTeam Dynamic Pro Race 1.2s and will probably go with 17s as I dont want to feel every single bump and make the speedo inaccurate. (And refurb the TKs at a later date)

Cheers for all the opinions peeps!
