UK STi Broken torsion bar bracket
Anyone suffered any problems with the torsion bar brackets in their UK MY02-06 STi?
I released the boot today, heard a crack and the result is a broken bracket.
The torsion bar was stuck so that the boot lid was open at a angle of 45deg. By playing around with the torsion bar I managed to move this so the boot would close.
Any opinions if this is a welding job or replacement of the brackets / torsion bar?
