Anytips on waht's best to clean your exhaust end? Mine has the black soot on the end of the ppp exhaust. I had a little go at cleaning this and found it was hard to remove but as the same time it now looks a bit two tone. Any thoughts that you should cleran this or leave as is???

ppp backbox is stainless, and the above mentioned is the way forward, autosol or a similar cleaner, Brasso also do a stainless cleaner which also gives good results

do so if you want the swirls on the finish, if not, use a polish

Wonderwheels brings mine up a treat in seconds, just put some on a rag and work it in, you get a nice tingling sensation in your fingers to ha
been using it for years on the exhaust.

Jif (or Cif as it's called in these days of European imperialism/homologation - bring back marathon bars and Coco Pops I say....) is quite good - but I use brasso - doesn't leave any swirls or anything, and if you spend hours of meticulous polishing you can remove tarnishing - even seriously roughened where it has eaten into the surface of the metal. Brasso will remove blackened crp pretty much instantly.
Shocked that some of you use wire wool (or was this a melicious winde-up?!) My dad used wire wool on his alloy wheels to remove tar specs - rather than using my tar and bug foam remover spray which just dissolves it....) and needless to say fcked the appearance of his wheels immediately! One of my mates used a washing up green brillo pad all over her Polo to remove a heavy dose of bird sht - she didn't realise what she was doing (she is blonde...) as when wet the car looked all shiney - it was only after the car had dried that she realised her BF (owner of the car) was going to go ape sht!)
There's also a white powder called something like BarKeeper's friend (bought from Supermarket) which you dab on to a cloth, add a bit of water and it makes a paste - this is quite hardcore for the first 5 seconds of polishing - then you need to reapply.
Wouldn't bother doing inside of exhaust - will soot up after the first run - and black interior of pipe emphasises the size of your 'ole IMO!

I'd imagine it would'nt do much to start with (clog up with soot).
I would'nt use any kind of abrasive paper on my exhaust.
I use a cleaning compound in a tube like the one above, only it's allot cheaper.
I'll have a look to see whats its called, it's amazing

Why not try covering your weiner with soap, push it in, leave to soak then remove.
Just make sure the exhaust is cold....
Cheaning the inside of your exhaust?????
