Default Auto gauge from gaugeplace

I have the 52mm stealth 2 gauges from gaugeplace.co.uk fitted and they seem to work well and are fairly accurate. I know they arent defis but for the money they are not bad.

The problem is that in bright sunlight you can't read them very well as the glass reflects everything. You can see the numbers but you can hardly see the needle as disapointingly the needle wasn't illuminated which is a bit crap.

I've just noticed that they now do a stealth 3 60mm with illuminated pointer which should be much better. They look pretty good and are a close match to the factory clocks aswell. Has anyone tried these yet? How visible are they in bright sunlight?

I have a stealth 3 (think it's a stealth 3) 60mm im my A pillar pod. Not used the older gauge you have so can't tell the difference but it's OK....Yes it does reflect but you can usually see what the gauge is doing. Far from perfect, but usable.

Pic below shows it indoors with the roof having large skylights to give you an idea of reflection....

You should be looking at the bloody road when your driving!

So from that post we can't look at the speedo or rev counter or fuel gauge?
